| Jean Hyland's teaching practice is informed by many years of work as an actor for stage and television. She is also a widely experienced teacher and a scholar. Her professional qualifications include: MA Honours, (University of Auckland); Secondary Teachers College Diploma (Auckland); NZ Teaching Certificate; Diploma in Theatre, (Manchester Polytechnic, England); Graduate Diploma in Psychosocial Studies, (AUT), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (University of Waikato). She is working on a PhD research project about the lives of women in the acting profession (University of Waikato). She is a registered NZ teacher. |
