Dates and course duration

Most of our courses run once a weehshshsdk and are designed to fit with the school term. You do not always need to begin at the start of term however so if you discover us when term has already started it's worth getting in touch in case we can fit you in.

The term dates for 2011 are:

Term 1 Tuesday 6 February - Thursday 5 April (9 weeks for classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 8 weeks for Monday, Friday and Saturday classes)

Term 2 Monday 23 April - Saturday 30 June (10 weeks)

Trial sessions

Trials are for the indecisive amongst us, or for people who want to give something a go before committing to the full term. Trials cost $10 for children, $15 for teens and $20 for adults. We encourage people to trial in the first and second weeks only so as not to disrupt the class too much. If you decide to enrol after a trial, the trial fee will be deducted from the course fees.

Enrolling

There are no entry requirements for our courses (except our youth companies). As long as you fit the age group and level of the class and there are spaces available you are welcome to enrol. You can enrol online by going to TIMETABLES on the main menu and then finding the desired course using the navigation panel on the left. You can also enrol over the phone or by popping into TAPAC during our office hours. At the moment, we do not provide confirmation of your enrolment.

Before enrolling, it is important to read our terms and conditions. There is important information on refunds (we do not provide refunds if you decide you don't like a course). They can be downloaded here from our website.

Payment

We ask that all students pay their full course fees upfront before classes start however we are happy to set up installment payments if you can't pay for your fees upfront.

We are a non-profit organisation and rely on course fees for 70-80% of our operational costs. We do not run classes on public holidays and our fees are priced to reflect this.

There are several different methods of payment you can use to pay your course fees:

Direct Credit

Discounts

We offer a 10% discount for prompt payment. All prices shown on our website are loaded initially with the 10% prompt payment. These prices will remain until the last day of the first week of term and the prompt payment discount no longer applies. If you are eligible for a discount for another reason and you are paying after the prompt payment discount has expired from our website you will need to pay over the counter, over the phone or by direct credit.

We offer discounts to students enrolling in more than one course. When you enrol in two full term courses running in the same term, you receive 10% off both courses, and when three courses are enrolled in, the discount increases to 15% for all courses. This only applies when the full fees of all courses are paid for upfront and does not apply when the prompt payment discount is already taken up.

We also give a 10% discount for tertiary students, Western Springs College students, actors referred to us from agencies as well as discounts for family members. It is your responsibility to let us know if you are eligible for a discount before payment. These discounts do not apply when the prompt payment discount is already taken up.
