Kerry Stimpson

We welcome Kerry Stimpson on board the PASNZ ballet programme. Kerry danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet Company (1976 – 1979) and has since been a long-term freelance Ballet Instructor and Choreographer in New York City, Connecticut, and New Jersey, USA: Saint Saviours School of Dance, West Side Dance Project, Encore, Kozlov Academy of Dance, Springdale Academy of Dance, and on the Ballet Arts Enrichment Programme in Public Schools.

Kerry has taught all levels of classical ballet as well as engaged in syllabus development for children, with extended experience in choreographing annual performances, competitions and preparatory classes to students auditioning for Broadway shows. As with our other Tutors, Kerry is adept at providing stage management backup, costume repair and backstage childcare. She has been Personal Secretary to the Director of the Royal Ballet School and Office Assistant for Ballet Rambert, London, UK.
