Bridie ConnorsBridie Connors trained in New Zealand in Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and Royal Academy of Dance ballet and further danced in New York City with Ajkun Ballet Theatre (2006-2010) as a Company Trainee and later as Company Artist, also touring to Italy with the company. Bridie was employed to perform soloist roles in Albany Berkshire Ballet's Nutcracker (USA, 2008-2009). Bridie has participated in RNZB's company classes in 2009 (Jan-Feb) and in 2007 joined Teatro alla Scala's company classes (Milan, Italy), for the month of June. Bridie has had experience teaching ballet and dance in Arts and Education programs in NY Capitol Region, Detroit (MI) and in New York City public schools. Recently she trained as a Pilates instructor with Polestar Pilates NZ, teaching in the Auckland region and also currently teaches ballet and tap at Draper Academy of Dance.  |
