Georgia Wood

 Georgia Wood is a singer, actress and voice coach. A graduate of the University of Auckland and Toi Whakaari - The New Zealand Drama School, she is also a trained yoga teacher and uses this knowledge to better understand the body as a sound-making instrument. Now specialising in jazz and cabaret,  her vocal career encompasses musical theatre and a one-woman rock-opera, a cappella and big band vocal harmony groups, lullabies, funk  r'n’b and soul. Trained in bio-laryngeal mechanics and sound healing, her particular passion is to empower people to sing, believing it is a human need and right to express oneself through song. Her understanding and empathy of the courage it takes to express vocally with oneself as the instrument makes her an excellent vocal facilitator.
