Aeroballet
Tutor: Felicity Molloy

Ballet for Fitness is a new class that incorporates basic ballet movements and sequences to a range of live sound, classical and contemporary music. Inspired by ballet dancers training, this combination of dynamic and static exercises is practiced as barre-a-terre (floor barre) and in the centre. Besides a real aesthetic benefit - stretched spine and long muscles - the goal is the feeling of balance and control as well as an increase in awareness throughout your body. No need to be a trained dancer to enjoy it's benefits!

  • A really great way to workout
  • Improve core stability as well as strength
  • Improve posture and wellbeing
  • Increase flexibility and grace

Pilates
Tutor: Jane Evans

Pilates classes focus on alignment, flexibility and co-ordination; at the heart of every exercise is good breathing technique and core control. Pilates exercises concentrate on moving the right muscle at the right time; this makes the body more balanced so we can move with the minimum effort for the maximum results. Entry level is for those new to the technique.  Experienced level is for those who have already attended a course of Pilates classes and who understand how to engage their core and a ‘neutral pelvis’.
