High Jinx Circus Arts

PASNZ Circus Arts Company is about building a group who has a shared passion for circus performance. The ethos is therefore driven both individually and collectively. Together with their artistic directors, company members take creative ownership of all of their performances with themes and material devised and choreographed in the rehearsal process. The newest of the four PASNZ youth companies will create new work that has a pleasing balance between aesthetic entertainment and communicated content and which will be given a variety of performance opportunities and applications. The youth circus company will be a dynamic collection of awesome people capable of group creative awesomeness and technically amazing performance.

We will engage youth who are physically capable, brave with their creative ideas, bodily aware, show passion for some aspect of circus performance, are self motivated and have a sense of responsibility to their own learning / development.

All company circus artists are required to attend a minimum of three hours each week plus intensive performance project rehearsals.

Productions

High Jinx performed at Flyaways and recently presented No Strings Attached, a collection of short works displaying the beauty and awesomeness of aerial circus arts. Here's some of the feedback they received:
